David Cleveland
President

David Cleveland, President of Valley Homes, feels that "Integrity isn't sold, it’s earned". He is past President of the Nevada Manufactured Housing Association (two terms) and has a multitude of industry awards including induction into the "Hall of Fame" in 2005, "Person of the Year" in 2004 and received the "Professional Dealership Award" in 2003 and 2000. In 2002 he was voted the first runner-up for National Retailer of the Year. Cleveland has been the manufactured housing industry since 1978 and continually strives to be the ‘best of the best’ in his industry.

“Land-home packages are not a simple endeavor for homebuyers. We try to keep it simple to our buyers and with our purchasing power, the customer gets better pricing and services than if they did the project on their own. We also know which contractors provide quality work and offer a full turn-key package. A house may be the last major purchase you make, so be an educated homebuyer.”

Cleveland has also been deeply involved in his community. He was chairman of the Pahrump Planning Board in 1994, served on the Pahrump Regional Planning Commission and was chairman of the Nye County Regional Transportation Commission. He was born in Oregon in 1954 and is a 82nd Airborne Army veteran.

Barbara Cleveland
Vice President/Service Manger

Barbara has been in the manufactured housing business since 1993, when her husband, David Cleveland realized Barbara's talent with people could only enhance Valley's sales and service reputation.  Having had extensive "people" experience in the food and beverage industry Barbara was a natural.  Since taking over as service manager for Valley, they have consistently earned high awards for customer sales and service satisfaction every year since 1993.
 
Hailing from NY, Barbara has lived in Nevada since 1982, and moved to Pahrump with David in 1991.  "Pahrump is my home, and I never intend to leave."

David and Barbara have been married since 1988, and have worked together as a team since 1990.

Gretchen moved to the Pahrump Valley in May, 2003. Hailing from Sacramento California, she has spent the last 25+ years as successful sales professional. "I take great pride in representing Valley Homes, Inc. to prospective buyers and their families."

"I originally hail from Oregon, but having been raised in a military family, I have lived in a variety of places, including Sasebo Japan, Pearl City, Hawaii; San Diego and San Francisco, California.  I have lived in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1970, and consider Nevada my home. 
 
I have been a member of the Valley Homes "Family" since 1986.
 
I have 4 children, 3 sons, and a daughter.  During my leisure time, I enjoy spending time on my flower beds, or working on a variety of needlecrafts, or ceramics, china painting, and porcelain dolls as I have my own kiln."
 
The Cleveland's would like to add that Star is really a "STAR" in their company!  Without her and her inherent and absolute knowledge of all that this business involves, they know that Valley Homes would not run like the smooth ship that it is.  The Cleveland's' would like to acknowledge her loyalty and expertise, and her ability to get things done, always in a timely and professional manner.  Star has been with Valley almost since its inception, and without her, they really don't know what they would do!
